A 22-year-old Cincinnati woman is accused of driving a cognitively impaired man to a bank on Madison Road, taking his $3,000 cash withdrawal and leaving him on the roadside.

Alyvia Jean Frederick was arraigned Tuesday, Sept. 22, on a theft charge in Hamilton County Municipal Court, according to WKRC. A judge set her bond at $10,000.

The alleged theft took place Sept. 3. Frederick picked up the victim and drove him to a bank on Madison Road, where he withdrew $3,000 in cash, according to a Hamilton County Municipal Court affidavit cited by Fox 19. The victim has been diagnosed with cognitive delay resulting from a traumatic brain injury.

After the withdrawal, Frederick asked to count the money, the affidavit states. She then told the victim she had dropped the cash inside the vehicle.

Near the intersection of Burley Hills Drive and Sanderson Place in Indian Hill, Frederick allegedly asked the victim to get out and help her search for the money. When he stepped out, she drove off with the $3,000, according to court records.

Frederick also left with the victim's Chromebook computer, Social Security card and birth certificate, the affidavit states.

A Cincinnati Police Department crime report for the Oakley neighborhood lists a personal theft incident, No. 269C000497, at the 3000 block of Madison Road on Sept. 3. The date and location are consistent with the alleged crime described in court records.

The incident adds to a rising theft trend in Oakley. As we reported, theft has driven a 17% increase in Part 1 crime in Oakley in 2026.

Court records do not indicate whether Frederick has retained an attorney. No statement on her behalf appears in public records. The Cincinnati Police Department has not issued a public statement beyond what appears in court filings.
