Summit Country Day's three-game winning streak meets undefeated St. Bernard-Elmwood Place on Friday, Sept. 25.

Both teams carry playoff rankings into the Week 6 matchup. The Silver Knights (3-1) sit at No. 7 in the Division V, Region 20 computer points standings. The Titans (5-0) are No. 5 in Division VI, Region 24, according to WCPO.

St. Bernard-Elmwood Place enters at 5-0 after setting program records against Norwood in a 35-0 shutout. The start is the first 5-0 in program history, according to Titans coach Kyle Hogan.

Senior quarterback Lucas Cannady broke his own program single-game passing record with 365 yards, completing 21 of 31 passes for three touchdowns and one interception. He added 131 rushing yards and another score on nine carries. His previous single-game mark was 258 yards.

The Titans also set a program record with 604 yards of total offense, topping the previous mark of 591 set against Miami Valley Christian Academy in 2025. Senior wide receiver Keon Campbell hauled in 14 catches for 242 yards and a touchdown. Senior linebacker John Farris recorded 11 tackles, including 5½ sacks.

Cannady now has 5,087 career passing yards with 55 touchdown passes and 2,599 career rushing yards with 26 rushing touchdowns.

Summit head coach Mark Hafner, in his fourth season, said his team has played well and shown excellent chemistry. He praised the Titans, telling WCPO they have taken advantage of all of their opportunities.

The Silver Knights routed Miami Valley Christian Academy 47-7 in their most recent outing, according to WCPO, with five players reaching the end zone. Summit's lone loss came in the season opener, a 30-26 defeat to Cincinnati Country Day in which the Nighthawks scored the winning touchdown in the final 14 seconds, according to the Cincinnati Country Day athletics department. Summit responded with a 24-8 win over Clark Montessori in Week 2 and has won every game since.

Hafner pointed to sophomore wide receiver and safety Korde Williams as a player to watch on both sides of the ball.

"The sky is the limit for this kid," Hafner said. "He is like another coach on the field."

Sophomore running back David Poignard Jr. and junior running back Dillon Minton also play key roles on both sides of the ball for the Silver Knights.

The Titans have beaten Summit in back-to-back seasons. The Silver Knights' last win in the series came Sept. 8, 2023, a 16-14 victory in Hafner's first year as head coach.

Kickoff is Friday, Sept. 25, at Summit Country Day.
