Withrow University High School boys soccer carries a 1-0 record into Monday night's road game at Norwood, looking to build early momentum after a comeback win in the Aug. 20 season opener.
Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. at Shea Stadium in Norwood.
The Tigers opened the 2026 season with a 2-1 road victory at Deer Park, rallying from a 1-0 deficit. Jeanson Selemani led the attack with a goal and an assist, Christian Vasquez added the second goal and goalkeeper Sevastian Paez made six saves to preserve the win.

Withrow, a Cincinnati Metro Athletic Conference program out of Cincinnati Public Schools, now faces a Norwood squad playing on its home turf. Norwood High School, part of Norwood City Schools, sits just across the neighborhood border from Withrow's Madison Road campus, making this a short trip for the Tigers.
A win Monday would put Withrow at 2-0 heading into a demanding stretch. As we reported Aug. 21, Withrow rallied from a 1-0 deficit for the season-opening victory at Deer Park.
The Tigers' schedule doesn't let up. Withrow hosts Hughes on Wednesday, Aug. 26, at 7 p.m. at Withrow High School, then travels to Madeira on Thursday, Aug. 27, for another 7 p.m. start. The CMAC slate also includes a matchup with Clark Montessori on Oct. 8 and a home date against Walnut Hills on Sept. 28.
Monday's game at Shea Stadium kicks off a stretch of three games in four days for Withrow.
