Withrow rolled over Western Hills 52-0 on Friday, Sept. 25, opening Cincinnati Metro Athletic Conference league play with a shutout at home.
The Tigers entered the game at 2-3 overall after a non-conference slate that included a 45-12 win over Chaminade Julienne on Aug. 28 and a loss to Springboro in Week 3. The win over the 1-4 Mustangs pushed Withrow to 3-3 on the season and 1-0 in CMAC play, according to statewide scores compiled by Yahoo Sports.
Withrow's offense this season has leaned on quarterback Sa'Vion Davis, who can hurt defenses through the air and on the ground, according to a WLWT preview earlier this fall. Running back Dion Clardy and receiver Charles Alexander Jr. have been the other primary weapons. On defense, Joshua Erkins and Mister Achoe have anchored the unit, per the same preview.
Individual stats from Friday's game were not available.
