Cincinnati Police Department District 3 detectives are asking Oakley residents to help identify a suspect in a theft investigation.
The department posted a photo of the suspect on X on Aug. 31, asking anyone who recognizes the individual to come forward. The post did not describe what was stolen, where in Oakley the theft occurred or when it happened.

The case comes as theft in Oakley has climbed in 2026. A CPD neighborhood crime report updated Aug. 17 and covering data through Aug. 15 shows 353 personal and other theft incidents year-to-date, up 42% from 248 in the same period of 2025. The data is preliminary, according to the report.
The CPD's X account is not monitored around the clock. Residents who witness a crime in progress should call 911.
