Cincinnati firefighters pulled a sleeping resident and three dogs from a burning apartment in the 700 block of Delta Avenue in Mount Lookout on Aug. 18.
The fire broke out around 3 p.m., according to WLWT, which cited Cincinnati Fire Department investigators. Crews entered the apartment and found the resident asleep inside. Firefighters removed the person along with three dogs.
Paramedics treated the rescued resident at the scene. The extent of the person's injuries has not been disclosed, and it is unclear whether they were transported to a hospital.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation. CFD investigators have not released details about how the blaze started, how many units were affected or whether other residents in the building were displaced.
The Cincinnati Fire Department has not issued a public statement or named a spokesperson for the incident.
