Clark Montessori's boys soccer team beat Lockland 6-1 on Sept. 10 at Withrow University High School, with five different players scoring in the 6 p.m. contest.

The Cougars wasted no time. Colas Main opened the scoring to give Clark a 1-0 lead over the Panthers. Mosi Kemper followed with a goal to double the advantage to 2-0.

Zion Vaughn, who scored a hat trick in Clark's 6-0 win over SBEP on Sept. 8, added a third goal. Lucas Cole then made it 4-0 before the break.

Noah Richter scored to open the second half and stretch the lead to 5-0. Clark added a sixth goal later in the half, though the scorer was not identified in the team's live updates on X.

Lockland avoided the shutout with a consolation goal with two minutes remaining. The final stood at 6-1.

Five different Cougars found the net against Lockland. That kind of scoring depth has defined Clark's early season. As we reported Wednesday, Vaughn alone accounted for three goals in the SBEP rout two days before the Lockland match.

The Cougars also opened the 2026-2027 season with a 1-0 win over Cincinnati Country Day on Aug. 18, according to the team's schedule page. That gives Clark three confirmed wins so far this fall, including back-to-back games in which the team scored six goals apiece.

Clark Montessori hosts Roger Bacon on Sept. 15 at 7 p.m. at Withrow University High School.
