Hyde Park Square shops will stay open late on Thursday, Nov. 5, for an after-hours shopping event featuring drinks, snacks and in-store discounts.
The Shopping Soirée, organized by the Hyde Park Square Business Association's Retail Committee, runs from 4 to 8 p.m. across the Square, according to the association's event listing. Specific promotions, drinks and snacks will vary by store.
The association has not listed which shops are participating or what individual businesses plan to offer.
The event falls within Hyde Park Square’s Designated Outdoor Refreshment Area hours, which run daily from 9 a.m. to 11 p.m. Guests 21 and older may purchase alcoholic drinks in official DORA cups from participating vendors and carry them outdoors within the designated boundary. Individual shops determine whether DORA drinks are welcome inside.
