Cincinnati Country Day lost 70-0 at unbeaten North College Hill on Friday, Oct. 16, in a Week 9 Miami Valley Conference football game.
The Nighthawks, a Division VII, Region 28 program coached by Jim Collins, had rolled past Norwood 41-0 in Week 8. They had no answer for a Trojans squad that has outscored opponents 432-3 through nine weeks, according to the Cincinnati Enquirer's Week 9 scoreboard.
The Trojans are 8-0.
North College Hill recorded its seventh shutout of the season. Summit Country Day remains the only team to score on NCH, managing three points in a 43-3 loss Oct. 2.
The lopsided result came as NCH continues to play with several transfers whose eligibility remains in legal dispute. As Yahoo Sports reported, multiple players who followed head coach Tyler Williams from Robert A. Taft Information Technology High School to North College Hill enrolled in early 2026 and are competing under temporary court injunctions against the Ohio High School Athletic Association (OHSAA). Under OHSAA transfer bylaws, football transfers can play only the first five games with a new school unless they meet specific exceptions. A hearing to extend the order covering eight students in one of the lawsuits is scheduled for Thursday, Oct. 22. The players are at different stages of OHSAA review, and some have received approval since seeking court relief, the Enquirer reported.
Joshua Evans, the attorney representing the NCH students, wrote in an email to the Enquirer: "We aren't asking the court to decide who is eligible. We're asking that the calendar not decide these students' seasons before OHSAA does."
NCH athletic director Rayshawn Walton told the Enquirer the school is a neutral party in the lawsuits and will follow guidance from OHSAA and the courts.
North College Hill, considered a contender in the Division IV, Region 16 playoffs, travels to Norwood on Friday, Oct. 23, at 7 p.m.
